Ice Stock – New Year’s Antarctica Style

The largest New Years Celebration on the Continent! Icestock 2010/11. It was the 11th annual gathering of McMurdo bands to bring in the New Year. The calendar worked this year to have Icestock on New Years Eve and the bands played from 6PM to 1AM. It was a great celebration with many talented bands, a pig roast and plenty of dancing. Unfortunately it was one of the coldest nights we have had in months with it getting as low as 1F during the outdoor concert. People bundled up and still had fun!
